    Dr. Eickmann's research in unicondylar arthroplasty has been submitted for publication in the Journal of Arthroplasty, and his research on backside motion in modular hip prosthesis was presented at the Orthopedic Research Society. He has been published in the Journal of Neurosurgery, and co-authored a book chapter about knee replacement in Insall and Scott's "Surgery of the Knee."

    For the past two years, Dr. Eickmann has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research, and currently is designing a less invasive hip retractor with Innomed. He serves as a consultant for Medacorp, and is a former member of the Loma Linda University Resident Selection Committee.

    Dr. Eickmann enjoys running, golfing and skiing. He and his wife Cherie have two handsome and brilliant future orthopedic surgeons-Tommy and Teddy, and a beautiful daughter Cassie.

    Dr. Hsin is committed to excellence through compassionate, quality orthopedic care guided by Christian principles and has been a part of the Denver metro community since 1976.

    He is involved in numerous community activities, including serving as a team physician for several local high schools, Colorado Christian University, the Denver Barbarians Rugby Club and Young Life youth camps. He writes for local papers and speaks to community gatherings on topics relating to orthopedic and sports medicine. He is also a clinical instructor at Denver Health and Hospitals, and precepts medical students and oversees internships.

    Dr. Hsin earned a Master of Arts degree with an emphasis in missions from Fuller Theological Seminary. He has traveled to Southeast Asia on numerous occasions with Cambodia Medical Missions in a continuing effort to improve medical care in Cambodia.

    Dr. Hsin spends his free time with family and enjoying skiing, boating and golfing.

    Dr. Gagliano has practiced in Colorado since 2007. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Colorado and Boulder Medical Societies and the American Medical Association. In his spare time, Dr. Gagliano serves as team physician for the USA Ski Team and the USA Men's Rugby Team. He is also actively involved as a team physician with Adams County High School and Skyview Academy.     Dr. Mann's community service includes regular stints as camp doctor for Young Life and serving on the committee of Young Life-Central Denver. He has covered the Ralston Valley High School football team for the last five years and has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and Denver Hands for Hope Day.

    Dr. Mann spent part of his childhood in India and cites his father, who was also a physician and medical missionary in India for 10 years, as a significant influence. His own medical mission service has included practicing pediatric orthopedics in Honduras.

    "My treatment philosophy is to educate the patient, help them understand their problem and equip them to manage their injury," Dr. Mann says. "Sometimes this requires surgery and/or the aid of a skilled physical therapist."

    In his spare time, Dr. Mann enjoys snowboarding, basketball, soccer and hockey.

    Dr. Wertz has more than 24 years of experience in performing total hip, total knee and total shoulder surgeries and has practiced in Boulder County since 1990. He has participated in research involving total knee replacement and knee ligament reconstruction and has been an instructor and moderator at the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
